What else, huh? Huh?

Well, we went to the Duck Carving village, where we saw men carving ducks, and to the Silver Village, where we saw men polishing silver, and we went to the Volcano, where we didn't see men carving a volcano, but we did see this:

and I focussed in a little bit on that hut over on the left hand side & came up with this:

Kind of puts it all in perspective, doesn't it?

And we stopped at an amazing temple, where we all had to don Sarongs.  I must admit I'm a bit fond of this picture, and may stoop to blackmailing the people in it:

And we saw amazing carving and painting:

And some rather beautiful waterworks:

and some nice aquatic plant life:

So peaceful!

  2. Ah yes, the gentle art of *yawning* irony. Lost on so many, appreciated only by the few who actually read, ingest, snort. Gotta love that.

  3. Oh yes, *yawning* only because it's 5.42am. Why? More later, Remaining Gentle Readers.

  4. Ah catching up still but my son's fiance's family go toBali frequently. I thought the same thing, how can you go to the same place every couple of years but they find it so charming, so enchanting, so relaxing that they just love it. Plus it's economical and beautiful. Nothing wrong with sarongs, I live in them in summer.
